In The Theater – Desert Bayou

I was checking out the movie schedule and I thought to let you guys know about some other movies that are hitting theaters this weekend. In addition to The Heartbreak Kid, also opening this weekend is ‘Desert Bayou‘. ‘Desert Bayou’ is a documentary about Hurricane Katrina. It focuses on a group of 600 African Americans who were airlifted to the mostly white state of Utah. While there, these outsiders try to make a new life for themselves and explain how they were all lucky enough to survive the storm and the devastation of New Orleans that followed. This movie is opening in limited release, but it’s definitely worth checking out if it comes to your town. Hopefully it will open in wider release later, depending on the success. But if you live in a major city like New York or Los Angeles, you should definitely check this movie out.

Penn State Football Photos

I was just checking out this really cool web site. The web site is called Replay Photos and it gives you the ability to check out hundreds of Penn State Athletic and Campus photos and actually buy them. How cool is that. Say for instance you’re a fan of the Penn State football  team and you wanted to purchase a few of the team photos. You can check out this web site for the Penn State football section, find the photos that you like and buy them. It’s actually pretty simple. I didn’t even know that you could do that. I guess you learn something new every day.

Sharp HDTV-Ready LCD Television

I’ve had my current television for about eight years and it’s definitely time to upgrade to something better. After buying my flat screen computer and falling in love with it, I couldn’t imagine buying anything other then a Flat Panel Television. They’re just so much better then the old televisions like I have now. Not only are wide screen LCD televisions stylish, but they have amazing resolution and unbelievable picture quality.

The other thing I love about flat screen televisions is that you don’t have to worry so much about the space that they take. Because they’re flat, you can easily hang them on a wall in your home. I was checking out the Sharp 32 inch HDTV-Ready LCD Television on Shopping.com and I’m so in love with that television. It’s huge. I love the glossy finish that it has and best of all it’s affordable. You have to see the Sharp Flat Screen Television for yourself. It’s gorgeous!
