Lil Miss : Recommends

I was watching this television show on HGTV the other day called I Want That Kitchen, or something, and they were remodeling this couple’s kitchen and one of the cool things that they put in the kitchen was a wine refrigerator. I thought that was so cool. I’m not really a drinker, but I think wine coolers are so awesome. They definitely add a level of style and class to your kitchen that you can’t get from anything else. I think that they’re a must have for people who entertain a lot or like to have a glass of wine with dinner. It sure beats storing your wine in the refrigerator and having it fall to the floor when you’re trying to take out the chicken for dinner.

I’ve probably mentioned before how much I love watching home design shows. Before I started watching a lot of these home design shows on television, I never really cared about things like lighting. The most important part about lighting to me was making sure that I changed my bulbs before they died. However, now I realize how different kinds of lighting can really effect a certain space. For that reason I’m more into stylish lighting such as track lighting, sconces and things like that. I really have a new appreciation for my home and the things that I put into it. Now, lighting for me is definitely more then a bright bulb in my lamp. I’m even considering pendant lights for my kitchen. I never could have said that before.

I love to watch weddings. I think it’s such a great thing to be able to witness the union between two people. I even love to watch weddings on television. Even though I love weddings, I really feel bad for all of the grooms. Whether on television or in real life, it always seems as if everyone ignores the grooms. Even the groomsmen seem to be ignored. It’s always about the women and their gowns. Since nobody pays the groom and the groomsmen any attention, they should at least get nice gifts. The next time you’re shopping for your bridesmaids gifts, consider picking up a groomsmen gift for the guys that play a part in the wedding. After all, you’re probably the only one who’ll notice that they’re even there.
