They Need Better Performance Management

This past week I had a lot of drama with a certain company over the way that they choose to do business. I’m usually a pretty soft spoken person, but this company annoyed me something bad. I tried to stay calm and speak politely because I hate to be rude. I’m a firm believer in using tact and respect to get what you want, but I had a few moments when I wanted to scream at the person on the line to give me her supervisor. If this company had better business performance management, I probably wouldn’t had to go through all of the drama I went through with them. The funniest part about the whole thing is that the next day I received an email from the lady asking me to evaluate her performance! Surely she didn’t want me to tell the truth!
