I’ve been thinking about moving next year, but the price of homes is so expensive in the state that I live in. The other day my friend showed me a house that’s in her neighborhood and I was speechless. First of all she lives in a better neighborhood than I live in. I’m more in the city and she’s not. She showed me a gorgeous condo that costs less than $130,000. Homes like the one that she showed me usually go for upwards of $250,000 in my state. I’m not sure if it’s because of the state that she lives in or if it’s because their real estate market isn’t booming as much as ours, but either way she has me thinking about moving to where she lives. It’s incredible.

I used to hate when I’d be out and someone would come up next to me and tap their wrist as if to ask what time it is. That’s a really annoying thing to do. I don’t think it would be as annoying if they just verbally asked, but the wrist tapping is crazy. Now that I don’t have a watch anymore I refuse to be the person that does that to someone else, so I really need to get a new watch. I usually rely on the person that I’m with to tell me the time, or I try to look at the clocks that are around town, but if I’m alone I’d be in trouble. Maybe I should put a Panerai watch on my Christmas list. Those watches are awesome. I’d have to be really good about not losing that watch because it costs a pretty penny.

My aunt is a piece of work. Every time she comes to visit my home she expects for us to make her a cup of piping hot coffee and a piece of hot cake. She’s crazy. I don’t know anyone who would do that. The coffee isn’t a problem and neither is the cake if she calls before coming, but piping hot? Every time you come? That’s crazy. She usually tells her mother to do that for her, because there’s no way I ever would. She better hope that someone buys her a Saeco automatic espresso machine for Christmas so that she can make her own piping hot coffee. While she’s at it, she should also ask someone to buy her a cake mixer.
