Building a Bookshelf

I’ve been thinking about making myself a bookshelf. At first I wanted to buy one, but I can’t seem to find one that’s the exact color that I’d like it to be, so why not make one. I’ve watched a lot of people build bookshelves on television so I’ve convinced myself that building one shouldn’t be too hard. My only problem is that I don’t know where to start. I don’t know where to buy wood or the tools that I need. So far I only know where to get wood stain and body shop supplies. I’m really determined to build a bookshelf and it shouldn’t be too hard to find wood, so wish me luck.

Visiting New York

I like New York a lot but it’s not a place that I’d like to live. I think New York is great for people who love to be in the middle of a lot of excitement. Every time I visit New York I get extremely overwhelmed by the amount of people who are walking around at any given moment. And it doesn’t really seem to matter what time of day it is or where you’re at. Another reason I wouldn’t want to live in New York is the transportation. I like cars, not subways. So while everyone else is hiring a New York Moving Company to move them to New York, I’m content just visiting on the weekends.

Lose The Pizza

I was just watching True Life on MTV and it was about obese people. I’ve dealt with weight issues all of my life, but to see these people on television was really and eye opening experience. I’m not like any of them, but I can relate in a way. The part that annoyed me about them was that none of them seemed to want to make the effort to lose weight. I may have a problem getting the motivation to exercise, but I’m not eating a whole pizza by myself either. I think you have to at least try. Unless you just want to look for a diet patch or have weight loss surgery. But even then you still have to maintain it. They didn’t seem to care.

Give Me Electronics!!

I’ve been surfing around online today and I see that everyone has had a really Merry Christmas. Some people received some pretty great gifts that I’m quite jealous of. Flat screen televisions, laptops, iPod Touch, etc. It’s funny because I’m not the type of person who’s into electronics and gadgets like that, but when I see cool new electronics I get really interested in finding out more about them and even owning them. For instance when I first heard about the iPod Touch I was like “whatever”, but then I saw a video that shoes everything it does and I fell in love with it. Now I must have it!
