Lil Miss : Recommends

I was watching an episode of House Hunters and there was a couple looking to buy a second home on some island. I thought it was pretty funny because they lived in the Bahamas or somewhere similar, yet they were looking for a second home away from that. I don’t know about you guys, but if I lived some place beautiful such as Miami, California, Hawaii or the Bahamas, I would not feel the need to buy a home some place else. I happen to live in the city and as most of your probably know, there is no peace in the city. So for me a second home in a more quiet place would make complete sense. I can understanding running away to a second home when you live in a city, but not when you live in one of the most popular vacation places in the world.

I really want a new surge protector. I have one in my bedroom right now, but I could really use another one. The one that I have now has all of my important cables and wires plugged into it, but I don’t want to over power it by plugging too many things into it. My solution was to buy an extension cord for the other side of the room, but that only holds three items and I need more space than that. I really just need that surge protector for a few items, but I would feel more protected with a surge protector rather than an extension cord. For now I’m content with what I have just as long as all of the wires and cables are safe and out of the way. I’ll worry about the other side of the room at another time.

I’ve never been to Vegas but a few friends of mine went recently and they really enjoyed themselves. In fact they said that it was the best time that they’ve ever had. I’m not really surprised because Vegas has always seemed like an amazing place to visit. I’m not a big party person or gambler, but I would definitely like to visit Las Vegas to take in some of the famous shows that I’ve heard about. I’d also like to visit some of the casinos and enjoy the sites and sounds. I’ve also heard some pretty great things about the hotels in Vegas. My friend told me that his hotel view was the most amazing thing that he’s ever seen. I look forward to experiencing that for myself one day soon!

I’m trying to eat and drink a little more healthier lately. One way that I’m doing that is by drinking less soda pop and trying to drink healthier beverages. I haven’t quite accomplished that because I seem to have only replaced soda pop with sugary drinks such as iced tea.
