New York Is For Vacationing

I was watching this show on television the other day about New York real estate and I can’t believe how much money it costs to live in New York City. I don’t live too far from the city and I’ve noticed how expensive my neighborhood is but it’s not even half as expensive as most places in New York are. It’s so funny how one amount of money can get you so little or so much depending on where you live. For instance I can rent a three bedroom apartment in my town for the same price that most New York residents pay for a one or two bedroom. I guess that’s why I’ll always see New York City as a vacation destination rather than a place that I want to live. You don’t have to worry about me hiring a New York Moving Company to move me to the city any time soon.

I Miss It Now That It’s Gone

Isn’t it funny how some things never really seem important until the time comes when you realize that you need it and don’t have it? I’m referring to health insurance. I haven’t had health insurance for a few years now and I really don’t think about it much until I get sick. For the past three days I’ve been suffering from a toothache and I would really love to go to the dentist to get it checked out but I can’t right now. Since I don’t have insurance I can’t just go to the dentist or doctor when I want. I usually have to wait until I save enough of money to pay for the visit. I think people who have health care really don’t know how lucky they are. I know I took it for granted until I no longer had it anymore. It may be easy to find affordable NC health insurance but it’s definitely not easy to find affordable heath insurance where I live. I guess that’s why I’ve been doing without.
