Lil Miss : Recommends

I can’t believe the summer is about a week away and I still haven’t completed my spring cleaning. That’s what you call slacking. Now that it’s hot I know I’m not even going to want to clean the rest of this house up. I’ve made a lot of progress recently. I was able to gather a lot of things together to give to the Salvation Army. I know there are still more bags and boxes to send out though. The next thing I want to do when the weather breaks is get together all of my old movies, books and even textbooks that I had from school and donate them to a library. I can’t see throwing away perfectly good videos, books and textbooks that someone can make use of.

It’s so hot outside today. I can’t believe it’s over 100 degrees. We’re in the middle of a heat wave and I really don’t think I’m going to be able to survive it. I know that sounds really dramatic but I’m serious! I hate when it’s this warm. I don’t want to do anything. It’s hard to be motivated to even breathe. If I had things my way I would stay in the cold all day. Unfortunately that’s not possible. The best I can do is try to dress in light clothing. When it’s this hot out I hate wearing clothes so I try to wear things that don’t add to the heat.

One thing I stand clear of in these temperatures is makeup. There is no point to it. After five minutes it all starts to run down your face! LOL I also leave my gold chains and rings in the jewelry box. It doesn’t make sense to wear them when I’m constantly wiping away my sweat! UGH, I can’t wait until this heat goes away. Then I can put on my gold chain, my jewelry, my lip gloss and everything else that I love to wear!!

I’m probably one of the few people in this world who doesn’t have any pets yet but I know a lot of people do and I’m actually considering getting a dog really soon so I wanted to post about this cool product that I came across. What’s your favorite part of the summer? My favorite part is probably the fun things that I get to do that I can’t do any other time of the year. The summer is basically three months that most people can just live it up. Children are out of school and it’s easy to take family vacations and cruises. So much fun! I must admit that my summers are never really spent doing those things. I usually spend my summer hiding out in the cool air and drinking ice cold beverages. Although I really hate the heat of the summer I would deal with it to go on some cruises and vacations!
