Lil Miss : Recommends

Don’t you just hate it when you find a really cute outfit online or in the store and you want to buy it for yourself but they don’t make it in your size? That has been happening to me a lot lately. Not just because I’ve gained a few pounds (ahem) but because I seem to like clothes that just aren’t made for me. A few weeks ago I was doing some online shopping and I came across the cutest slippers. They looked a little juvenile in that they were some bright pink color, but I was digging them! I look at the size and just my luck – too small! I counted that as a lost and continued on. I came across some print tees and guess what! Those were for juniors! Sometimes I miss being a teen!

I’ve also come across a few great dresses online only to discover that they’re maternity dresses. When did pregnant people start dressing so cute? Well, one thing that I can wear that’s not for me is bridal lingerie. Even though I’m not married or even engaged, I like it and I can wear it! LOL

Hey guys! I hope you all had a great weekend. My weekend was OK, I guess. It was very uneventful. You know what really surprised me about this weekend? It was so warm! Especially yesterday. Yesterday was about 50 degrees. I know that doesn’t really sound too warm depending on where you live, but considering just a few days ago it was about 20 degrees, I would say that 50 degrees is pretty warm. today doesn’t seem to be too bad either. It’s going to be in the forties! The crazy thing is that as the week progresses the temperature will drop to the twenties again. Oh well, I guess that’s pretty normal for the East.

I wonder if the West Coast has erratic temperatures like this? One day it’s cold and the next day it’s hot. I can’t even imagine all of their pools and wall fountains freezing and thawing, freezing and thawing every time the temperature changes drastically. LOL that would be really weird.

Hey guys, happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. Things have been a little slow around here due to the lack of freebies, but I promise that things will pick up this coming week. I have a few ideas that I plan to implement, so hopefully that will make the site more interesting. I’m also planning to update a few things around the site as well as change the site design. I hope you guys were able to take advantage of some Super Bowl freebies this weekend. A lot of places offered tons of free things in preparation for the big game. I even saw a few clubs and bars offering half priced food and drinks. You can’t beat that! Anyway, just wanted to post an update. Be on the watch for some new stuff this week. Have a great week!
