Lil Miss : Recommends

Oh man, my back is really killing me right now. I’m sitting at my desk doing some work and my back is in so much pain. Yikes. I haven’t really been doing work for very long so that’s not even the source of the back pain. My problem is that I made the mistake of sitting up at my desk all day watching videos online and now that I actually have to sit at my desk to work my back hurts. I always do that! I love to watch videos on my computer, but sitting here instead of in my bed is a really bad habit that I need to break.

If I had a comfortable desk chair that offered support for my back it wouldn’t be so bad but I don’t. So I’m basically sitting here for hours slumped over watching movies. Now my back is killing me. I wish I had the space in my bedroom for home theater seating. Maybe a reclining chair for when I’m watching videos? That would be so much better! I think I’ll stretch and rest my back for a while.

I’m not sure whether or not you guys remember me blogging about my leaky kitchen faucet a while back, but I’m happy to report that it’s been fixed! Actually it’s been replaced. We got rid of the old faucet and replaced it with a pretty spiffy new one. At first I wasn’t really a big fan of the new faucet because it’s kind of fancy, but it’s definitely grown on me. All of my life I’ve used the kind of faucets that have the separate hot and cold handles, but the one that we have now only has one handle for both the hot and cold water. That definitely took some getting used to.

I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve been burnt because the water was further to the left than I anticipated. Now that I’ve gotten a hang of this faucet I love it! It’s probably one of the best kitchen faucets we’ve ever had. With that said, if we could keep this design but go back to the other style I’d jump at the chance!

Today has been a pretty boring day. It’s late Saturday night (technically it’s Sunday since it’s 1:30a) and I’m still awake. I took a nap earlier in the day so I’ll probably be up for a while longer. I’m so bored. I really need to find more interesting things to do while I’m online. I was just watching videos a while ago. It’s so amazing to me that you can find almost anything online to watch. Sometimes when I miss my favorite shows I’m not even disappointed because you can watch them online.

I love that a lot of networks offer replays of shows online. They usually wait a few days after the original air date but it’s still pretty convenient. In most cases the view is just as good as it is on television. I love that! I can’t tell you how annoying it is to try to watch a show online only to realize that the sound and picture quality is horrible. Can’t they afford good sound and video cards? LOL I guess beggars can’t be choosers though!

I’ve decided that instead of just posting freebies on this site I will also post other deals and coupons that I come across online. I’ve come to this conclusion because you can’t really get anything for free anymore. LOL With so many companies struggling, no one is trying to pay shipping and handling to send you something for free. I’ve been checking all of the free spots I used to check to see if anything good is being offered and there’s nothing. I guess times are hard for everyone. Times are hard for customers so we want free things and deals, but times are hard for companies too so they really can’t afford to offer us anything good. But I’ve noticed that there isn’t a shortage of good deals online. I’ll be giving you guys the heads up on those!
