My New Diet!

I started my diet today. I know it’s kind of strange to start on Memorial Day being that there are a lot of events and stuff going on. Plenty of opportunities to fail, right? Maybe! I think that it was a good idea to start today. If I can get through this day I can prove to myself that I’m strong enough to stick with this diet through all of the barbecues and free food! I actually don’t have much planned for today, so it probably wont be as much of a challenge as one may think.

Now that I’ve started my diet, my next step is to start exercising. That really is the hardest part. I think it’s easier for me to not eat than it is for me to stick with exercising every day. I’ll probably start off by walking and doing some things around the house. If I stick with it for a few months I’ll buy myself one of those small treadmills. I’ve always wanted one but I didn’t want to waste money if I wasn’t serious about dieting. Hopefully everything will work out great. Yaaay!!
