Keep The 4 Doors!!!

My best friend has been talking about getting a motorcycle for a few years now but luckily he hasn’t followed through with that threat yet. I think motorcycles are awesome…. for some people. Not for my friend though. He’s one of those drivers that you see every day who are in a rush to get nowhere fast. I can’t imagine him riding a motorcycle. I would be in fear for him all of the time. He’s definitely a lot safer behind the two or four doors of a car.

I think there’s a particular type of person that motorcycles are made for. They’re not just for everyone. Most of the people I know that ride them are risk takers. They like excitement. I can’t even picture my friend with a motorcycle jack trying to change a tire, let alone riding a motorcycle on the road!

Home Sour Home

I was talking to my mother yesterday and we were fantasizing about how nice it would be to have a new house. We’re both pretty tired of where we live now and it would be great to have a different house in a different state. I would really love the change of scenery and atmosphere. I think the longer I live here the more I hate it. It’s hard to believe that I actually loved this house when we moved in ten years ago. Now I can’t even stand to be around here.

The house itself is a problem, but it’s also the neighborhood. The property value of my neighborhood has steadily declined over the years and it’s time for us to move on. I’m not sure if it’s a good or bad thing that we don’t really have home insurance because if we did I’m sure we would have to pay a lot living here. It’s that bad!

30 Minutes!!!

Today is the start of a new week and I’m not ready for it. I didn’t get to sleep until about 5:40 this morning and I had to be awake at 6:10am. So as you can probably imagine, I’m not in a very good mood. No one should be forced to function on only 30 minutes of sleep. That’s so cruel! I don’t know how I’m going to get through the rest of this day. Hopefully I’ll have enough energy to get me to the afternoon at least. Then I can take a tiny nap.

The crazy thing about last night is that I’m not even sure why I stayed awake. There was no reason at all for me to stay up all night. At one point I was getting really tired but I deliberately tried to make myself stay awake. I must have forgotten that today is Monday. No more staying up late at night for me. Not to watch TV, listen to music or read Lipofuze reviews online. I’m going to start getting more rest at night. At least more than 30 minutes!!

It’s Captivating!!!

If you’ve never stayed up all night for several night in a row, you probably haven’t noticed this, but late night infomercials are soooo funny. They sell the craziest things at night. And the people hosting the infomercials always have these really insane personalities that captivate you. Sometimes I will sit there for 30 minutes listening to someone talking about how a knife can cut a piece of wood. It’s not that I’m so interested in the knife, it’s just captivating.

I can even sit there for 30 minutes listening to someone talking about acne cream when I don’t have acne. Weird. I’ve even found myself watching those infomercials that talk about those special treatments for men. Ahem!! Or the ones with crazy claims about cures for illnesses I’ve never even heard of. I’m convinced that infomercials prey on people who are half asleep and have no idea what they’re watching or ordering. Why else would someone not trying to lose weight want to see diet pills reviewed for 30 minutes? It’s captivating!!!
