Laboring on Labor Day?
Happy Labor Day, everyone! Do people even celebrate Labor Day? I mean besides the fact that things are closed and you have that day off from work and school. Labor Day is one of those holidays that I always forget about. I usually only remember it because when I was growing up, we used to have to go back to school right after Labor Day. That’s the same reason I remember it now. All of the children in my family will have to start school on Tuesday. The day after Labor Day!
I know a lot of people also like to barbecue on that day. I’m going to spend today cleaning. Booo. I thought the point of Labor Day was to get a break from laboring? Maybe I’m mistaken. LOL. Either way, I’m not looking forward to all of the cleaning and household chores I have to do today. If you guys decide to hang out and barbecue, I hope you all stay safe. No drinking and driving!
