Unsuccessful Job Search

It’s really hard not having a full-time job right now. It’s amazing how frequently you find yourself needing money when you don’t have any. When I was a little more financially secure it didn’t seem as if I had as many bills as I have now. I buy a lot less things now than I did before, and I’ve made a lot of concessions in my life, but it seems like I still can’t get ahead. I guess it’s because I’m pretty much living off of my savings. What little I have left. I really hope the job market improves soon because I can’t seem to find any good work. I’ve applied for several jobs but the competition is so steep. I can’t seem to get a leg up.

I’ve been giving a lot of thought to moving, but that’s going to have to wait until I can get a job and save some money. I hope that the economy is a little better whenever I do move. I don’t want to have to go from being stressed over a New Jersey and New York Job Search, to being stressed over a  job search in whatever state I choose to move to. I’d like to be able to move and find a job quickly. I don’t want to be put in this position ever again.

System Care

I finally got a chance to do a sweep of my computer this past weekend. I didn’t clean out everything, but I did clear the recent search history for all of my browsers, repaired incomplete registry entries, cleaned up my junk files, optimized and repaired my system configurations, defragmented my hard disk, and most importantly, I ran several scans to remove any spyware and adware that might have attacked my computer. All in all, I’m very happy with the way that turned out. I had a lot of registry entry errors and a lot of files that needed to be deleted from my recycle bin, but I had no viruses, spyware or adware. That’s good to know!

One thing that I’m unsure about is whether or not this program cleaned everything. After it told me it fixed all of my problems, a window popped up telling me that I may still have over three dozen other problems. Of course it offered to clean them… if I updated to the paid version. I’m all for charging to fund new software developments, but just warm me of that beforehand. Don’t use those kinds of tactics. That really annoys me. I’m still going to keep using that program though. LOL
