Splish Splash

It’s almost 8am and I still haven’t made it to the shower. I’m not sure what I’m thinking. I’m not planning to work until later so I guess I’m in no rush. As long as I take my shower before 10am I’ll be good to go. I have so many things to do today, but since I woke up not feeling well, I don’t want to do any of them. I kind of just want to go back to sleep and wake up at noon. I don’t think that’s going to happen though. Going back to sleep would throw my whole day off.

I think I will get in bed for a few minutes though. I can rest for 30 minutes and then take my shower. I’ll probably have to rush though, so no 60 minute shower for me. Boo. I love being in the shower. Sometimes I don’t even realize I’ve been in there so long until I look at the clock and realize an hour has gone by. I’m lucky we have tile flooring. By the time I finish showering the floor is wet and I have to dry it up. I have way too much fun in there!

A New Month…

Happy second day of November everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. My weekend was pretty good. I didn’t do anything for Halloween, but I’m sure that doesn’t surprise anyone, judging by my last blog entry. I still haven’t found out the significance of Halloween. All I know is that the kids only care about candy, the women only care about dressing provocatively, and the men only care about wearing weird costumes. Sounds lame to me. I did see some really cute celebrity costumes online though. I love that part of it. Actually, that’s the only part of Halloween I like. I didn’t even get candy this year!

I don’t think I’ll ever be that into holidays. Especially the ones that have no significance to me. I hope you guys had a safe time this weekend though. I’m saving my good time for Thanksgiving. I’m not doing anything exciting— no traveling, ski vacations, or anything like that. I’m just looking forward to seeing a few family members that I haven’t seen in a while. That should be cool!

What Is The Meaning Of This Day?

It’s officially the day before Halloween. I think. Is Halloween on the 30th or the 31st? Ha ha. I have no idea. Let me look. OK, it’s tomorrow, the 31st. The fact that I didn’t know what day Halloween falls on is probably an indication of how I feel about the “holiday.” I really need to Google the day and find out the significance of it. I wasn’t raised celebrating Halloween so I have no idea what it even means. I always hear people refer to it as the “devil’s night.” Hmm, that doesn’t sound like anything I want to participate in.

At any rate, I’m glad this month is almost over. It’s hard to believe that November is only a few days away. In a short while it will be Thanksgiving and then Christmas. Wow! This year is going by super fast. Soon, all of you will have to start stocking up on artificial christmas trees! LOL. Then it will be 2011. *screams*

Wasted Money

I was reading this article about the ten most expensive cars ever and it really left a bad taste in my mouth. LOL. I don’t understand why anyone would spend so much money on a car!! I know that doesn’t mean much coming from a “broke” person like me, but I think it’s just dumb to pay for a car what you could pay for a house. I guess it’s just an ego thing or a sign of status. I also think it’s dumb when celebrities buy expensive cars as well since they hardly ever drive them. It makes no sense to me.

The cars on the most expensive list start at around $500,000 and go up to about $2.1 million. Do you know what I would do with that money!!! For $500,000 I could buy a nice house and a car, plus have something left over to pay several months of car insurance. Honestly, even if I was Oprah rich, I would still think paying a million dollars for a car was completely dumb.
