Dark Eyes

Lately I’ve been noticing that I have dark circles and bags under my eyes when I don’t get enough sleep. That’s almost every day since I usually only get about 4 or 5 hours of sleep per night. That’s acceptable when you’re young, but when you’re my age that’s no good. Getting by on 4 hours of sleep was easy when I was 18, but now that I’m in my mid to late 20′s it’s murder. I’m always tired and I never have enough energy. Not to mention the fact that my eyes look bad.

I was checking out www.eyecream.org and they have a lot to say about the best eye creams on the market. I’ve never thought about buying eye creams before, but at the rate I’m going I’ll probably need some soon. Hopefully with a cream and proper rest the dark circles and bags will fade over time.

The Good With The Bad…

If you were to ride through my neighborhood right now you would definitely be able to tell that the summer isn’t too far off. It’s almost 11 at night and the neighbors have been cooking out in their yards and making a ridiculous amount of noise. I miss the winter already! I don’t know what it is about summer (or spring in this case) that makes everyone act crazy. Is it the heat? It has to be. Or maybe these people are always crazy but I just hear them better now because they’re outside instead of in their homes. I can tell right now that it’s going to be a long summer!

Even though my neighbors can get rowdy at times most of them are pretty cool. They’re helpful when you need it. And my neighborhood isn’t violent or anything so there isn’t any need for security cameras or alarms. Yet! Although I’m not a fan of the noise I can definitely appreciate the beautiful night. I guess sometimes you have to take the good with the bad.

The Computer Suits Me…

I just finished watching a few episodes of one of my favorite old television shows on my computer. I love being able to watch all types of shows and movies on my computer. My computer monitor is about the same size as my television set but I definitely prefer watching things on the computer. I haven’t turned my television on in over 8 months. Last year I was really interested in purchasing a new flat screen TV, but then I realized that I could just watch everything online instead. I haven’t watched my TV since.

The only downside to watching things on the computer is that I can’t fall asleep with the TV on. And I also have to keep the mouse close at all times in case the screen goes idle. But other than that I wouldn’t trade the computer for anything. I’d still like to get a new LCD TV one day, but I’m definitely not as much in a hurry as I used to be.

Proper Skin Care…

I’ve really been taking having nice skin for granted and lately it’s really starting to show. I’ve always had pretty clear skin but lately I’ve been noticing more pimples than I’m used to. My skin has also had several blotches and blemishes, especially on my cheeks. I think it’s because I haven’t been staying after my skin (especially my face) like I’m supposed to. Sure I wash my face several times a day but I rarely ever exfoliate and moisturize it properly. I’ve also been putting a lot of perfumed lotions on my face. Not good.

I’m hoping to start a skin care regimen now that I have a great facial cleanser. It took me a while to find one that I really liked but I think I’ll get good results from it. I want to do right by my skin now because I don’t want to have to worry about getting adult acne treatments if these pimples keep attacking my face. Hopefully my new cleanser will do the job!
