Lil Miss : Recommends

I’m so happy that the summer is starting to wind down a bit. At least as far as the weather is concerned. After a week or so of temperatures above 90 degrees and several minor “tornadoes” we’re getting a little break. It’s supposed to be under 90 degrees for the first few days of August. That makes me happy. Once August comes and goes the weather will be so much nicer. I’m looking forward to that because I’ve had my fill of high temperatures and humidity!

I’m really looking forward to fall this year. I have so many things planned. I don’t even bother planning things in the summer because it’s too hot! Good thing Halloween isn’t until fall. Can you imagine what kind of costumes people would be wearing if it was in July when it’s 90 degrees out! I prefer fun costumes that are creative and interesting. They’re better to wear and to admire.

I’ve been doing so much shopping online this week. I’m beyond broke by now! I wanted to get some things for my family members and of course I looked for a few things for myself. I’ve been looking for some clothing that’s heat wave appropriate. I have a ton of summer clothes in my closet (shorts, Capri pants, tank tops, summer dresses, etc), but none of them are worth anything when it’s above 80 degrees. They all feel too thick or heavy. That’s why I’ve been looking for clothing with lighter fabrics.

This may sound strange but one thing I love to look for when I’m shopping is big and tall clothing for men. I think their tanks tops and boxer shorts are perfect for lounging or sleeping in. I prefer them over other men clothing. And sometimes I even prefer them over the women’s clothing that I purchase. Nothing can beat big and tall clothing in the comfort category, that’s for sure!
