Lil Miss Freebies: Charmin Extender

ETA -9/18/2010 - I originally mentioned this in December 2007. Almost 3 years later and this is still available!! Get it if you haven’t yet. :) Just copy and paste the link!

Hey guys, I have another cool household freebie that I wanted to tell you guys about. This offer is for a free Charmin Mega Roll Extender. If you’ve ever purchased the Charmin Mega Roll toilet paper you’ve probably noticed that the toilet paper doesn’t fit properly on a normal toilet paper roll. That’s where the Charmin Mega Roll Extender comes in. This handy little contraption can be attached to your regular toilet paper holder so that the mega roll can fit. The cool thing about this freebie is that Charmin allows you to receive one or two of these extenders for free. That’s great for people with more then one bathroom in their home. All you have to do to get this freebie is follow the link below and fill out a short form.

I recently received my Charmin Mega Roll Extender in the mail and it’s really cool. I couldn’t actually use it though because I don’t use the same type of toilet paper holder. If you do use the plastic holder, this is a great freebie.

The Awesomeness Of Tea Tree Oil

When I think about some of the best products I’ve discovered over the past few years, tea tree oil comes to mind. For those of you who don’t know know, tea tree oil is an essential oil that can be used for almost everything. Seriously. This stuff is amazing. The great thing about it is that a little goes a long way. You can literally do dozens of things with just a few drops each. When I first came across tea tree oil I used to think that it was kind of expensive, but after I discovered all of the uses for it I realized it’s probably a bargain.

Some things that I’ve discovered tea tree oil can be used for include general first aid (cuts, burns, abrasions), boils, eczema, dandruff, rashes, insect bites, bee stings, and razor bumps, just to name a few things. You can even use tea tree oil for acne. Awesome, right? That’s why it’s definitely a product that I don’t mind paying a little extra for.

Small Ministry

My mom and I have been working together to come up with some ideas for our Ministry’s fliers this month. We’ve had the same logos and stuff for 15 years and it’s time to create some new things. I think we’ve pretty much narrowed down the general concept, so it should be fun to see everything come together. I’m really looking forward to it. It’s mostly her creative vision, but I’m doing all of the designing!

I feel really happy when we make progress. We’re still a small Ministry, but you never know what can happen in the future. Sometimes I’m happy that we’re not too large. It would definitely be more expensive, time consuming, and stressful if we were. I do look forward to a day when we’ll have our own office complete with name tags and company banners though, if that is meant to happen. That would be awesome!

Beauty Regimen Products

I’ve really been slacking with my beauty products lately, but I hope to start a new beauty regimen soon. Luckily for me, I have never been the type of woman to wear face makeup. I think that makes a difference in the way a woman’s skin looks. I don’t put all of that stuff on my face so my skin is pretty healthy. I hardly have any blemishes either, besides a few pimples here and there. I don’t know what I would do if I had problem skin. I guess that is why I should appreciate it more and take better care of it. You never know what could happen.

Right now I have my eyes on a few products that I think will keep my skin looking great; including a mint masque, apricot scrub, and some kind of moisturizer. I haven’t decided what type of moisturizer or acne products I’ll get just yet. Once I do a little more research and read some customer reviews I’ll decide.
