Lil Miss Freebies: Hug-a-Vegetarian Day Action Pack

Hug-a-Vegetarian Hey guys, I came across another freebie that I wanted to share with you. This freebie is called the ‘Hug-a-Vegetarian Day’ action pack and it’s given by PETA. I’m not necessarily a huge fan or supporter of PETA, but I like free stuff! Plus I am a vegetarian and I found this pretty cool. Judging by the picture, I believe you get 4 of the cutest free stickers and a leaflet about saving animals. The stickers have various slogans on them, as you can see to the left. I hope you guys like this. If you do, copy and paste the URL below to find the form. Fill it out and you can get your free stickers. :) By the way, for those wondering, “Hug a Vegetarian” Day is Friday, September 24!

Word Of Mouth Feedback…

My mother has started using this eye cream recently and it’s really helping her a lot. The cream is basically supposed to fade the dark circles under her eyes and it actually does a great job at that. So much in fact that she has been using it on other dark spots on her face and I’ve noticed a difference within a few weeks. It’s starting to make me want to try the cream out. I’ve never been the type of person to buy into fads or buy a bunch of products that other people swear by, but I’ll definitely try this cream. She also uses the soap every morning.

I would probably be more open to trying new products if I received great word of mouth feedback. I trust the opinions of close family and friends a little more than commercials and celebrity advertisements. If my mom or a friend tells me some company makes the best eye creams I’m willing to at least see how it works for me!

New Law Knowledge!

I consider myself to be a person who has a great deal of knowledge concerning various topics, but it’s amazing how much more you can learn every day. Especially on the Internet. Sometimes I just click links or read things to find out what’s going on in the world and I’m exposed to so much. Some good, some bad of course. Today I saw the term “Jones Act” and I wasn’t really familiar with it, so of course I went on a hunt to find out exactly what it was.

There was a whole page about it and its relation to marines. But apparently the benefits of the Jones Act are really complex, according to what I was reading. They even urge marines to contact a Jones Act lawyer specifically if they want to file a claim under the legislation. That’s good advice. I wouldn’t want a lawyer who isn’t familiar with the Jones Act handling my case, you know?
