Lil Miss : Recommends

Today is only Wednesday, but it’s been a rather rough week so far. By rough I mean exhausting, not difficult. I’ve been working during the third shift and my body hates that. I hate keeping a weird schedule. Since my body isn’t used to it I just feel tired all day. Even if I go to sleep at like 7 a.m. and sleep until 1 p.m. I still feel tired for the rest of the day. I hate it!

I just need to get away. Get away from the hecticness of my job and my family life. I need to go on an Outer Banks vacation for the whole month of April to rebound from what the month of March has done to me!

I have never taken a weight loss supplement before, but I have been thinking a lot about it. The thing that always stops me from taking diet pills and weight loss supplements is fear. I’ve heard so many conflicting things about the safety and effectiveness of diet pills that it makes me a little fearful and nervous about taking them.

I do appreciate websites that give honest reviews on diet pills. It’s still hard to rely completely on reviews though because you never know why they are saying what they are saying. I like when reviews aren’t just based on opinion. Like the pink magic reviews I was just reading. They had information about the good and bad. I appreciate that.

I don’t buy a lot of fragrances since I’m allergic to so many things, but I love to smell those little samples that they include in the magazines. If a fragrance smells really good it will definitely make me want to buy it. Another thing that makes me want to purchase a perfume is the bottle. I love cute bottles. In my opinion, Mariah Carey has the best perfume bottles. I love all of her little butterfly-inspired creations.

The other day I was browsing around online and came across an ad for Katy Perry’s perfume Purr and the bottle is just darling. Not as cute as Mariah’s, but it does kind of make me want to buy it and I’m not even a cat lover. It also helps that the perfume has notes of peach nectar, apple, jasmine blossom, Bulgarian rose and vanilla orchid. Sounds like it smells great!

Ever since my best friend quit drinking he has become a chain smoker. He’s always been a smoker, but he has never smoked this much. I guess he just traded one vice for another one. His favorite thing to smoke are cigarettes and cigars. He can smoke a few cigars a day and nearly a whole pack of cigarettes. Yikes.

I hope he he eases up on all of the smoking because he’s not even 30 yet. I can’t imagine how his lungs will be when he’s like 40 or 50. I could understand if he wanted to treat himself to some baccarat cigars every now and then, but this guy smokes tons of those cheap things. Not good.
