Our Three Athletes

School is finally back in session for two of my three cousins who start high school this year. They are all so excited. I remember the first day of high school. I definitely wasn’t as excited as they are. I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t like it either. Besides being excited about starting a new chapter in their lives, I think they are all excited about sports. All three played football in grammar school, so I know they are looking forward to joining a high school team and winning a few sport trophies.

I think high school sports are so great for teens. Especially boys. They learn so much about life and get to build great friendships. I hope my cousins enjoy this awesome time in their lives and make the best of it. I also hope they win a few championships! Who knows, they may even get scholarships for college one day.

A New Perspective

Today is the last day of the month, so you know what that means. It’s about time for me to set some insane new goal to lose weight for the new month. I do this every single month and honestly, nothing ever comes of it. I hope this time will be different though. I think it will. After the hurricane and stuff that we experienced recently, I’ve been forced to put a lot of things into perspective. I want to get healthier so that I can do more things with my life. I’m tired of being stuck in this situation.

Coming face to face with a hurricane will really make you ponder life. It also makes me want to lose weight. I kept thinking, what if I had to be rescued and was too heavy to carry. I would have had to drown or something. That thought alone will make you look up the top 10 weight loss pills. I may sound a little dramatic, but the hurricane did give me a lot to think about.

New Office Complex

Author: Joseph Sandoval

My husband recently moved to a new office complex. He is not the owner of the complex but rents space in the building. Occasionally he is the last one out of the building, and he has been forced to learn the security system. Although he was given a tutorial by the office manager, he had to go to home-alarm-systems.com to refresh himself before closing up for the first time. There are several businesses located in the complex, and there is some very expensive computer equipment there. He was warned as part of his rental agreement that he would be held liable if he was the last one out without properly locking up. It is interesting because he is actually in real estate, but most of the other offices in his building are occupied by a computer software company. He used to work from home, but as our family grew he was forced to turn his office into a nursery. It has worked out for the best as his business has grown substantially in the last three years.
