Lil Miss : Recommends

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about going back to school for a degree. I’m not really sure what I want to study though. I have so many interests, but I couldn’t imagine doing any of them full time for a living. I don’t want to waste time and money by taking classes I can’t use. If I register for an online university it would be really convenient and I could keep my day job.

If I could have things my way I would get a degree in child psychology or something. I have a passion for that. I also love art and journalism, but I’m not sure which online university specializes in those things. I wouldn’t mind working in a hospital either. I have so many options, but I’m not sure what’s really best for me. Before I decide to register for an online university I have to give it a lot more thought.

My best friend has been looking for a new job for almost two years. He has a lot of experience doing every type of job imaginable, but no one will seem hire him.  I’ve known him about 10 years and in that time he has probably had close to 20 jobs. It could be more than 20, but we’ll go with that. And the jobs have been as similar and different as you could imagine.

Sometimes I think maybe having that much experience actually hurts him. When companies look at his resume and see that he goes from business to business, they probably figure that he has issues and would be a risk to hire. They are probably right. But now when he needs a job the most he can’t get one. That’s kind of sad.

I’ve been thinking a lot about buying a new website. I have this idea for a new site but I don’t quite know how to execute it. I’m not even sure it makes sense to buy another domain since I have to work so much and I hardly have any free time to do the things that I want to do. I wish I could snap my fingers and all the work would be done for the site.

If I do decide to start the site I will need to read a lot about marketing and stuff. If I put a lot of time and money into something I want to see positive results from it. I also want to be able to reach a wide audience. I think I need an seo company to give me some tips about that.

When I downsized to a smaller apartment so that I could live by myself, I expected to be able to just take all of my furniture and stick it in my new apartment. Boy was I wrong. My couch fit, but just barely. I didn’t have room for a coffee table too, so I decided that I needed to get rid of that stuff and downsize.

So I went online on Facebook and Craigslist to see if I could find someone who would even come and pick it up at my place. While I was online browsing some swapping sites I came across some information about wireless internet companies and after I looked through it a little bit, I decided to sign up for an internet plan with one of the companies.

I even found a smaller loveseat on Craigslist that was only like $100. Just within my price range. So I got my boyfriend to go and pick up the couch with his truck and drop it off at my place in exchanged for a home cooked meal.
