I got my boss good clear wireless internet deals for our two offices. Now, he has made me in charge of going through the purchasing budget and seeing where we can save money. Not necessarily cutting things out of the budget, but finding better deals on utilities and things that we use in the office everyday like office supplies. I was actually really happy and excited that I got assigned this job because I love to save money. I pride myself of being a great deal finder and never over paying. I always clip coupons and check the papers to see when things that I know that I will need are on sale. I have gone through my parent’s utilities and expenses as well as my sister’s and taught them a thing or two. Having the internet as a resource for accessing coupons, flyers, and comparing prices is really the key to making sure that you are getting the best deals on things. I can’t imagine how tough it would have been before you had access to everything in one spot. I can’t imagine staying on the phone and trying to take care of this kind of stuff. It would take all day!

I really hate that January is almost over. That means that spring is right around the corner. And you know what comes after spring, don’t you? Summer! Long, hot, summer days.  Blah. I still hate summer! I think I hate summer so much because we still don’t have central air conditioning. How can you get through summer without central air conditioning? It’s torture! I don’t think I would hate summer as much as I do now if we had that.

Another reason I don’t like summer is because we don’t have a pool and I never get to go to the beach. Oh yeah, I also can’t swim. LOL. That takes all the fun out of summer, right? If I had a pool I would be in there every day from June 1 to Sept 1. If I had one of those pool heat pumps I would probably spend all spring in the pool too. I love being in water. Even if I can’t swim!

I’ve been trying to get a head start on spring cleaning but it’s been such a hassle. I feel so overwhelmed by the number of things that I have to do. It’s stressful! Now I see why a lot of people do spring cleaning every year. It’s so much easier to get rid of a little bit of stuff every year, than a lot of stuff every few years. At the rate I’m going, it will take me until spring to finish everything I have to do. But I really love the idea of purging everything and creating a whole new space. I need that bad!

Unless you’re a person who gets enjoyment out of cleaning, why wouldn’t you want to pay a professional to do all the cleaning at once. That beats doing a little bit each day.
