Lil Miss : Recommends

The one thing I probably hate the most about the home that I live in is my bathroom. This bathroom has to be one of the worst bathrooms ever. It needs so many repairs just to make it presentable. And it’s not just the way that it looks. On top of everything else it’s small! At least if it was big and ugly it would serve some sort of purpose, but it’s little and ugly. Two negatives.

I really look forward to moving one day soon and having a nice bathroom. It doesn’t have to be anything spectacular, it just has to be functional and have some nice decor. I don’t think that’s too much to ask for. Of course if there was a bath vanity that would be awesome too. I’ve always wanted a large vanity in my bathroom for doing beauty stuff.

My cousin decided to spend a few days at my house, and as luck would have it, she broke our sing again. Yes, again. This is the second time she has broken the sink this year. Our sink is designed so that the water goes down the drain at a moderate speed and I guess moderate was just too slow for her, so she decided to rip the drain plug thing completely out of the sink. Again.

When she did that last time we gave her the benefit of a doubt. She denied breaking it at all, but of course we knew better, so we just concluded that she did it accidentally. We had the sink fixed good as new, but the first time she spends the night again the sink ends up broken in the same way. Imagine if we had an Insinkerator!! Those are much better than what we have in our bathroom. I would probably have to ban her from my house forever!

I recently received my Charmin Mega Roll Extender in the mail and it’s really cool. I couldn’t actually use it though because I don’t use the same type of toilet paper holder. If you do use the plastic holder, this is a great freebie.

This may seem really cheesy, but I’ve always wanted to stay in a log cabin. Not so much to live in, but to visit for maybe a week or so. I’ve seen a few on television and they’re really awesome. They seem cozy and interesting. I always imagine sitting by some huge fire and reading books or listening to soft music. Maybe I’m getting old or something because that whole thing really appeals to me.

I remember watching one of these design shows on TV and they were showing all of these cool custom houses. One person had a log home that they had built from scratch. It was awesome. I used to think there was no way to live in a house made of logs until I saw how it’s really done. I can’t remember whether or not they had log beds or furniture made out of logs, but the house alone was pretty spiffy.
