Just Enjoying The Game

Last night I finally got the chance to catch up on the NBA Playoffs. I haven’t been watching basketball as much as I usually do because that lockout really threw things off for me. I just lost interest. I’m not even rooting for a team this season. I’m pretty much just watching because I love to see the game being played.  I must admit though, there are a few teams that I favor. I just want to see someone different win the championship again. That’s why I was so happy for the Mavs last season. I’m tired of the same teams winning! I’m definitely not one of those super fans that you see on TV, huh?! However, if they start throwing tailgating parties for basketball like they do for football, I’m there! I can’t resist a nice, juicy steak or burger. Especially when it’s cooked on the grill!

Give Me Five Feet!

I love my little cousins so much, but boy do they invade my space. It’s like I have three shadows trailing me all day long. It was cute at first, but now it’s gotten kind of old. When I’m around them, I can almost imagine what it’s like for celebrities who have to constantly deal with paparazzi. They watch me when I go to the bathroom, call me when I’m in my room, and sit under me when I am in their presence. I’m starting to think that I might need a bodyguard. Or maybe discount crowd control ropes like they have at concerts and stuff. Those are probably great for at least five feet of space. Whatever it takes to get those precious little munchkins away from me for at least 15 minutes!

Rough Housing

My little cousins have been coming to my house everyday for almost two weeks, and boy are they rough. I’ve never seen such active kids. I’m a firm believer in letting kids be kids, so I allow them to play and be active instead of just forcing them to sit still all day, but my house does suffer because of that. If they’re not messing up the pillows on the couch and scuffing up the living room floor with their sneaker, they’re wasting juice on the kitchen table and floor. Grrr. It’s definitely a bit much sometimes. Having them over everyday will have you wishing you had garage flooring inside your home. Since garage floors can handle the wear and tear caused by cars and trucks, those are the only floors they probably wouldn’t damage. Maybe.

Born That Way

My friend is 29 years old and he doesn’t like his body much. He’s kind of small and thin with no muscles at all. I don’t think there’s really anything wrong with him, but he’s always talking about wanting to do p90x, so I guess he wants to see if he can gain weight and become more muscular. I don’t know about that. I think some guys are very similar to women when it comes to stuff like that. Just like women need to realize that not all of us are meant to be a size 6, guys need to realize that not all of them are meant to look like a bodybuilder, or have a six-pack. Some guys are meant to be scrawny, I guess.

Maybe p90x will help my friend and maybe it won’t. Maybe he needs a testosterone boost or something. Who knows. I know a lot of guys probably wonder “will Progrene boost my testosterone?” That’s just something you have to research to figure out what’s best for you, because some things work or some don’t.
