I can’t believe my Goddaughter is almost a teenager. I’m too young to have a teenage Goddaughter! It seems like she’s growing up way too fast. I hate the thought of her becoming a teen, then a woman. I can’t take that kind of stress. I worry about her so much these days. I want her to make good decisions so she can live a great life without any regrets. I hope she can learn from my good and bad decisions.

If I’m stressing this much right now and she’s not even a teen, imagine how I will be when she turns 16 or 18. I don’t think I can handle that. I don’t want her to grow up. I’m scared to think about the day when I’ll have to buy her a sweet 16 gift. That seems as far off as buying fiftieth birthday gifts for her. I want to remember when she used to crawl and drool. Those were the good days!

It is really amazing what you can find at the dollar store these days. They have so many things that I used to have to buy from discount and grocery stores. The only bad thing about the dollar store is that most of them don’t live up to their names. Things are no longer one dollar at the dollar store. Everything costs $1.09, $1.19 or $1.29. I’m not sure where they come up with those prices, but I don’t really complain because things are still cheaper there than other places.

Two weeks ago my mom actually bought a pretty nice phone case from the dollar store. It’s great quality and looks better than her more expensive one. Although the dollar stores sell a variety of phone cases I have never seen an iphone case there. That’s OK though because you can just buy them online for a good price!

I think the Internet has really made me a cheaper person. Now that I know I can save a lot of money by shopping online, I have to compare the prices of every store that sells a product before I will buy it. I do that every time I buy something no matter how much time it takes. I just want to be able to save as much as I can during these times when money is a little tighter.

I know I’m not the only person who shops this way. It may seem a little drastic, but you save a lot in the end. I plan to use this method no matter what I’m shopping for. If I ever decide to get my license and get a car I will definitely use the Internet to shop around for cheap car insurance too. I’m all for getting a great deal!
