Lil Miss : Recommends

It’s finally Friday! Yaaay! I’m so happy that this week is finally over. It’s been a really long week and I’m glad that the weekend is here. My life is pretty boring at the moment so I don’t have anything interesting to look forward to, but I’m happy to be able to rest and relax for a few days. I’ve been giving a lot of thought to taking a vacation this year. Even if I can’t afford to go to some place really far I would at least like to take a weekend trip to another state. Maybe Florida or Vegas?

I can’t believe the year is almost half gone and I still haven’t been out of town. Not even once! I think I’m going to have to just plan a trip and leave! If I think about it too much I’ll talk myself out of it. I don’t care what anyone says, we could all use a Westgate vacation right about now. This year has been stressful!!!

I’m so happy that today is Thursday. I’ve been having a really bad week and I can’t wait until the weekend gets here. I really don’t have any plans for the weekend, but I am hoping that I can use that time to regroup and put some things into perspective. I’m usually not one to regret not being able to drive, but there are times like today when I wish that I had my driver’s license. If I did I would definitely be on the road right now.

I hear a lot of people talking about how great it is to just hop in your car and go for a drive to clear your head. I really wish that I could do that. Or maybe even take a trip. Too bad I don’t have any travel health insurance or car insurance. A nice long drive would do me a world of good right now.

My family is planning a summer trip this year. My aunt came up with the idea of the whole family doing something to celebrate the closing of the summer. I’m not sure if I’m really down with that since I don’t like the place that they want to go. I don’t feel that I should pay a lot of money to go to a place that I have no interest in. I wish that my family would decide to go to a place that I love. I wouldn’t even mind going to a place like Disney World. Or Florida. That would be so cool!

I know that my family would rather go to a place that’s local to save some money but I’m just not interested. I think I may pass on the family trip and plan my own little vacation for later this year. I’d rather save money for Outer Banks rentals instead of amusement park adventures and things of that nature. It doesn’t seem worth the money to me. I hope they understand!

My mother was coming home from work the other day and she saw my cousin ride past her in a truck. She got a really big kick out of seeing my little female cousin driving a big moving truck. I can’t even picture it if I try, so I can imagine how funny it was to my mom. I’m actually kind of surprised that my cousin felt comfortable enough to drive that big truck. She’s only 18 and hasn’t had her driver’s license for very long.

I’m also surprised that the moving company rented the truck to her. I know a lot of car and truck rental places are apprehensive about renting vehicles to teenagers. Especially those who’ve only had their driver’s license for less than a year or two. I wonder if she had to pay extra. I know insurance rates for teenagers or a lot higher than they are for adults over 21. I know one thing, you wont ever catch me driving a truck. No thank you!
