Lil Miss : Recommends

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and you know what that means. That means Christmas isn’t too far behind. It’s only a matter of time before people start putting up their Christmas decorations. I’m not really into holidays, but it’s so hard not to love Christmas. Everyone seems to be so much happier during that time. It’s also fun to see all of the outdoor christmas decorations that people put in front of their homes. Sometimes I like to drive ahead town just to see all of the beautiful lights and things that are on windows, doors, porches, etc. I’m not sure if we’ll decorate this year, but decorating really does get you in the spirit of Christmas.

I’ve been thinking. Assuming that my family was actually cool with the idea of movie night, I wonder what movies we’d watch. I think most of us have different tastes in movies, but we do have some things in common as well. The easiest thing about movie night to agree on will of course be the food. All you need to do is buy some drinks, chips, popcorn, candy, and things like that. It wouldn’t be hard to please people when it comes to those snacks. In fact, we might end up needing one of those home theater popcorn machines to be able to keep up with the demand for popcorn. I know I love to eat a lot of popcorn when I’m watching my favorite movies. Maybe one day I’ll get my wish for movie night!

I don’t do a lot of entertaining in my home. I’m not really a large crowd kind of person so I try to only have a small number of people in my home at one time. On the other hand, most of my family members love entertaining. That’s fine by me because I’d much rather the party be at their homes anyway. I wouldn’t mind joining their parties if they did things that I like. Maybe have a movie night. That would be so much fun. We can set up about 10 home theater chairs all around the big family room and just kick back and watch a few movies. That may not be most of their idea of fun, but I think good times would be had by all.
