I’m finally starting to feel better after being sick for about two weeks. Two weeks ago I came down with a cold that for some reason turned into some kind of throat infection. All I know is that I was feeling sick for a very long time! That’s the thing I hate about getting older. It seems like you keep colds longer. When you’re younger your body seems to fight them off faster. Maybe it’s just my imagination?

I know I’ve been around a lot of children and children definitely get sick more often than adults. Probably because they go to school and they’re around a lot of other children. Also children tend to do a lot of nasty things that I’m sure helps them to spread germs and things to each other easily and more frequently.

Either way I’m just happy that whatever I had seems to be gone. I’m not looking forward to the winter because I’m going to stay sick. For a large part of the winter I walk around feeling like I’m dying. Or wishing I was dead. Maybe now is a good time to look into life insurance quotes. Might as well get a jump on it! LOL

I just wanted to let you guys know that I changed the background of the blog a little bit. As I was saying in my previous post I feel that it’s very important to make sure that everyone can see the font and text perfectly. Basically the background had this weird pattern and since it contained specs of white it kind of prevented the text from standing out as well as it could. So I added a darker filter over the background to tone it down a bit. I love it so much more this way. The text was very readable before but for some reason it was just really annoying me. I didn’t get any complaints or anything, but I figured if it bothered me maybe it bothered some of you as well. Hopefully this is much better for you all.
