Are you a fan of skateboarding? I was surfing the net today and I came across this promotion for a new skateboarding community that’s being created. The web site is called FatBoned.com (pretty catchy, eh?) and they’re currently looking for Beta testers to try their new community that will cover the latest and greatest hotspots, how-tos, and gear releases. Fat Boned is a new social network dedicated to the skateboarding community. The site is accepting requests for invitations to the beta program and will be released in private beta within the next 45 days.

I like when there are communities created that are geared towards a particular interest. I myself have no interest at all in skateboarding but I thought that some of you may be interested. Also I thought it was pretty cool that FatBoned is offering all of its beta testers a free T-shirt for joining. Pretty cool, huh! All you have to do is visit the web site below, become an active Beta tester and get the FREE Fat Boned T-shirt!! Enjoy.

Move My Stuff

I need to clean my room up today. It’s starting to get a bit junky. Actually it’s very junky. It’s been this way for a while now. This time it’s really not my fault. Seriously! OK, so the last time I cleaned my room I decided to get rid of a lot of the stuff hanging around that I wasn’t using. I didn’t want to throw all of this stuff away so I decided that I would give it to the Salvation Army. It seemed like a good plan because I’d be able to get rid of all of my clutter while still helping people. The only problem is I don’t have a truck.

For whatever reason, the Salvation Army doesn’t make it their business to pick up things that people want to donate. That means that I have to find someone to pick up all of this stuff and deliver it to them. That might sound easy enough but with the price of gas these days nobody is willing to use their truck to transport things for free. I’m getting kind of desperate to get rid of these things though. I’m even starting to wish I could call a New York Moving Company to pick this stuff up!

This Chair Hurts My Back!

Filed Under (Business, General, Home, Life, Merchandise, Opinions, Shopping) by Lil Miss Girl on 02-10-2008

I’ve been sitting here all morning getting work done and my back is really starting to hurt. I’ve pretty much had bad posture all of my life so I’m not really surprised that I have so many back problems, but I think sitting at the computer working for hours at a time and not having a proper office chair really has a negative effect on me as well. I’ve already been sitting here over an hour all slouched over and it’s really weighing on me.

I think it’s so important to have an office chair that offers great back support if you work on the computer for long periods of time. If you don’t you’ll really feel the difference. Not only will you feel it in your back but you also feel it in your arms, neck and legs as well. I love to save money so I wasn’t really willing to pay so much for an office chair, but now I’m starting to realize my mistake.

I think office chairs are just like everything else. You get what you pay for. If you buy a cheap chair don’t expect to sit in it for hours a day and still be comfortable. It’s just not going to happen!

Children Are More Germy

I’m finally starting to feel better after being sick for about two weeks. Two weeks ago I came down with a cold that for some reason turned into some kind of throat infection. All I know is that I was feeling sick for a very long time! That’s the thing I hate about getting older. It seems like you keep colds longer. When you’re younger your body seems to fight them off faster. Maybe it’s just my imagination?

I know I’ve been around a lot of children and children definitely get sick more often than adults. Probably because they go to school and they’re around a lot of other children. Also children tend to do a lot of nasty things that I’m sure helps them to spread germs and things to each other easily and more frequently.

Either way I’m just happy that whatever I had seems to be gone. I’m not looking forward to the winter because I’m going to stay sick. For a large part of the winter I walk around feeling like I’m dying. Or wishing I was dead. Maybe now is a good time to look into life insurance quotes. Might as well get a jump on it! LOL
