I read about a lot of cool things on the Internet, especially things that have to do with cars, but one of the most interesting things I’ve seen as of late in automobiles is cars with color shifting metallic finishes. Seriously, I’ve never seen these before. Well, the idea isn’t really new, a lot of cars have had colors like this, but not on the street.

However, the whole blended pigments look is getting much more popular these days. The secret of the sparkling, color shifting finish lies in the extra coatings of paint which are embedded with small metal flakes. So if you see a car pass you on the street and you’re convinced it’s black and gray or green and blue, you’re probably right. I’m sure as the summer goes by you’ll see more and more people experimenting with colors.

If you’re looking for a cool web site for your children to enjoy, check out The Doll Palace.com. I’ve visited the site on many different occasions, so I’m really happy that they’ve introduced a new Coloring Pages section on their site. I know this section was probably intended for younger kids, but honestly, I love it. I’ve been coloring The Bratz all day. it really is fun.

When I first saw that they added the Coloring Pages I thought they were Coloring Pages that you’d have to worry about printing out and coloring with crayons, but that’s not what it is at all. They’re the type of Coloring Pages that you can have your children color right on the site. All they have to do is pick out there favorite picture and start coloring. That simple. There’s a color paletteĀ  above the image and to color, all you have to do is put your mouse in the particular color that you want and the color will appear on the image. Nothing to it.

Last week I asked my young cousins what they wanted for Christmas and they replied “we don’t know”. I never thought I’d hear children say that there isn’t anything that they want for Christmas. I’m sure Christmas isn’t losing it’s appeal, so maybe it’s the gifts. If your child has gotten bored with gifts, it’s definitely time to See Giftventure.com to wrap your gift in adventure. Today was my first time hearing about Giftventure.com and I love it!

Giftventure is a new service created to make giving gifts to children ages 4-12 a fun experience for all parties involved. Giftventure turns gift giving into an adventure that your children will probably enjoy just as much as the gifts. Giftventure is much like the scavenger hunts you used to have as a child. Basically, you visit Giftventure.com and purchase a Giftventure that meets your needs. Each Giftventure is created especially for you and delivered to your door. You decide on the characters, locations and personal information you want included in your Giftventure and they’ll create a series of custom puzzles and letters that will be used to reveal your gift.

When solved by your child, the puzzles and letters will lead to a gift you’ve hidden in a secret location. This is a really cool idea to make giving Christmas gifts fun this year. Giftventure are available all year around and can be purchased to use for every day events such as birthdays, or special occasions such as holidays.

I’ve been a Johnny Depp fan for several years now and I’m crazy about many of his movies. I love that he always chooses movies that seem to be made for him, yet are so unique. The same goes for his newest movie Sweeney Tood. This movie comes out on December 21, 2007 and is sure to be a Johnny Depp Classic. You can visit the official Sweeney Todd movie site for more information.

Whenever someone mentions Johnny Depp, for most people the Pirates of the Caribbean movies usually come to mind. For me it’s Edward Scissorhands and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. They are both totally different movies, but they’re both classic Depp.

My introduction to Johnny Depp came with the movie Edward Scissorhands. It’s a fantasy film, but yet it’s something that I can relate to. Edward is such a quirky, yet lovable character. For instance in one scene Esmerelda says to Edward “I can’t believe you sheep have strayed so far from the path of righteousness!” and Edward replies “We’re not sheep!!”. Classic.

Another of my favorite Johnny Depp movies is also directed by Tim Burton. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a movie that people of any age can enjoy. It’s visually stunning and in true Depp fashion, perfectly quirky. A cute scene in the movie is when Willy Wonka asks Mr. Teavee, “If you had to choose only one half of your son, which one would it be?” Mr. Teavee replies “What kind of question is that?” Willy then says “No need to snap. Just a question!”

Although I love many of Depp’s movies, I’m going to have to go with the classic Edward Scissorhands. It doesn’t get better than that. I’m looking forward to seeing Sweeney Todd though. I’m sure that movie will be a classic as well. Don’t forget to visit Sweeney Todd on MySpace to find out more about the movie and make sure to go see Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street when it hits theaters on December 21, 2007!!
