I hate my room. It doesn’t really represent the person that I am. My room is so incredibly boring and bland and I’m the exact opposite of that. I love fun colors and designs and my room is so boring and BLAH. I really want to get a new paint color in here. I would also love to buy some new furniture. A new bed and some dressers would be perfect as well. The other thing I really need is a new television. I currently have this big and ugly television that has been around for way too long. I think it’s about time that I upgraded to something more sleek and stylish. Something with a flat screen that I can mount to my wall with a TV wall mount would be awesome. Now all I need is money and I’ll be on my way! LOL

I was watching one of those green shows today on that new green network and they were discussing computers. The segment was basically about which types of computers are more energy efficient. The host went around on the street asking people if laptops or desktops were more energy efficient and I was so surprised at how many people actually said desktops. Maybe I’m wrong but it seems like common sense would tell you that a laptop uses less energy and resources. The fact that laptops are smaller and more compact is what made me guess the right answer. After watching that show I really want to get a laptop. I have a huge flat screen desktop and I know it’s just sucking up a ton of resources and energy!

When I was growing up we used to always have a dehumidifier in our home. I know there are so many available on the market like the Aprilaire dehumidifiers, but the one we used to have was a really small portable dehumidifier that we used to move from room to room. I’m not sure why we never did get an additional one. I think  dehumidifiers are a great investment. Anything that makes the air easier for me to breathe in is a good thing to buy. Unlike my cheap bedroom dehumidifier, the new dehumidifiers on the market comes with great features such as low noise levels, on/off switch, auto shut off, a continuous drainage system and much more. I really recommend that you invest in a good dehumidifier for your home. If you decide to, don’t do like my family and move one from room to room, try to get one that’s for your whole home.

I love listening to music on my computer. I used to love to listen to my big stereo but I gave that to my cousin as a gift a while ago. Since I no longer have the stereo I usually just burn my CDs onto my computer and listen from there. Now that my computer is my primary way of listening to music I really regret not getting a better set of speakers when I bought this computer a year ago. The speakers that I have now are fine but they’re not very loud. I wanted small speakers so I wouldn’t need to find a speaker mount, but these speakers aren’t cutting it. Maybe I’ll just buy a speaker mount and get a larger set of speakers!

I want a new air conditioner for the summer. I heard it’s supposed to be a hot one this year and I don’t want to suffer like I did last year. I’m not a person who can handle the heat well. It’s just too much for me. Last year I had an air conditioner but it’s one of those huge ugly things that use so much power and still blow out hot air. I could try to buy an ac compressor or some other air conditioner parts to make it work better but that ac has seen better days and it’s time for something new. I’d really like to get an energy efficient air conditioner that’s better for the environment. I hate feeling like I’m wasting a lot of power! I’m willing to settle for anything that’s in better shape than the clunker that I have now.
