Can you believe that Mother’s Day is right around the corner? I can’t really forget because my mother reminds me every single chance that she gets. She makes sure that there’s no way possible that I can forget. All year long I’m pretty happy with the fact that I don’t have children but I have to admit that Mother’s Day does make me wish that I was a mom. Then I can count on getting some women’s lingerie or some other cool gift from my husband. I guess for now I can just be content making my mom happy on her special day.
I love that the weather is getting so warm out but now it’s starting to get uncomfortable inside the house because of the heat. Sometimes I think it’s cooler to be outside where the sun is rather than in the house where the shade is. Especially if you have a nice cool patio. Patios are definitely great to have during the spring and summer. I know a lot of people are looking forward to cool nights on their patios enjoying ice cold drinks. I can’t wait to do that either but I’m in need of some new patio furniture. Maybe a few lounge chairs and a table would be great. I’m definitely going to look into that before it gets too warm out!
I need a bigger house. Or maybe I just need to move far away. Lately it seems as though every time the doorbell rings it’s one of my family members coming over to visit. The problem with that is that most of the time when they come to visit they also want to stay. I don’t mind when a family member visits for the weekend every now and then, but lately they’ve all been coming frequently and with more than one bag of luggage. That’s never a good sign. You can fit a weekend’s worth of clothes and things in one suitcase. If someone comes with more luggage than that, it probably means they have a longer stay in mind! That’s never a good thing.
