Quest For Proper Nutrition…

I’ve been slacking on my diet and nutrition program lately, but I’m really looking forward to increasing my focus on proper nutrition. In fact, I recently purchased a wide variety of vitamins and supplements to get me started. I’m not really sure whether or not vitamins make a huge difference, but I’m willing to give them a try. It can’t hurt. One vitamin I’m sure makes a difference is iron. My mother is anemic and was prescribed pure iron by her doctor. You can really tell the difference in her strength and energy level whenever she doesn’t take her iron.

Speaking of vitamins and supplements…I was checking out this website online about something called irvingia gabonensis. I’m not ashamed to admit that today was the first time I’ve ever heard of it. But apparently it’s an ingredient used in a lot of supplements. I’m kind of intrigued by it. I wonder what it can do for weight loss!

Giving It Some Thought

I mentioned in a previous entry that I was considering taking diet pills as part of my new diet, but I’m still undecided. I know a few people who have taken diet pill, but they never really stick with it so I’m not sure how safe or effective they truly are. I’ve always thought abut trying diet pills because I need help losing some pounds, but I’ve always worried about the side effects of diet pills. I know nothing is completely safe, but I hear a lot of horror stories about diet pills and supplements.

I wonder if there are any herbal pills that can help with weight loss. Those seem a little less scary. I wish that simply eating healthy foods and working out was enough to lose weight, but with the slow metabolism that I have it’s almost impossible to lose anything substantial. I don’t want it to take a year of dieting just to lose as little as 20 pounds. That’s just ridiculous.

A Frustrating Cycle…

One the eve of starting yet another new diet, I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m a yo-yo dieter. I never thought I was one of those people, but I definitely am. I don’t buy into all of those fad diets like a lot of other people, but I do start and stop a lot of different diets. I can’t seem to find one that I can really stick with. Usually my reasons for stopping a diet are lack of motivation, illness, discouragement, or money. There are some other excuses, but those are the things that usually get me down.

I don’t expect to lose 20 or 30lbs over night, but I do expect to at least lose something when I’m eating the right stuff every day and working out. I’m not sure why my body begs to differ. Maybe it needs extra help. I’m not sure how I feel about diet pills though. I’ve never taken any, so I’m a little apprehensive. It’s just a frustrating cycle.

So Many Supplements

I’ve taken my share of vitamins and supplements over the years, but lately I’ve been really into buying vitamins. I’ve decided to start focusing on proper nutrition, so I recently purchased a ton of vitamins from online. I did some research online to determine what type of vitamins and supplements I was lacking in hopes of buying things that would be helpful. I narrowed it down to about 6 or 7, but that still seems like a lot. I hope these supplements really make a difference because they were very expensive!

In the last few weeks I’ve come across a few things online about hgh supplements, but I’ve never really considered taking those. To be honest I just learned what they were a few months ago. I like to research things a lot before I decide to give them a try. I’m sure if I continue to hear about hgh supplements I’ll feel compelled to see if they’re right for me.
